2. Description of Service

ResizeImages.co.in provides free online tools for image and video processing, including but not limited to:

  • Image compression and optimization
  • Video compression and encoding
  • Image resizing and format conversion
  • Watermarking, cropping, rotating, and blurring
  • Batch processing of multiple files

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

3. User Responsibilities

3.1 Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

  • Upload files containing illegal content (copyrighted material without permission, child exploitation material, etc.)
  • Upload files containing malware, viruses, or malicious code
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits or security measures
  • Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
  • Use automated bots or scrapers to abuse the Service
  • Resell or redistribute our Service without permission

3.2 Content Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to the files you upload. By uploading files, you represent and warrant that:

  • You own the files or have the necessary rights to process them
  • The files do not infringe on any third-party rights
  • You have obtained all necessary permissions and releases

4. Service Limitations

4.1 Guest Users

Guest users (not logged in) are subject to the following limits:

  • Images: 3 files max, 10MB per file, 30MB total
  • Videos: 1 file max, 50MB per file
  • Rate Limit: 20 requests per minute

4.2 Authenticated Users

Registered users receive increased limits:

  • Images: 100 files max, 25MB per file, 1000MB total
  • Videos: 100 files max, 2000MB per file, 2GB total
  • Processing Priority: Same priority as guest users

4.3 File Retention

All uploaded and processed files are automatically deleted:

  • Images: Deleted after 1 hour
  • Videos: Deleted after 1 hour
  • Job Metadata: Deleted after 2 hours

Important: Download your processed files promptly. We cannot recover files after automatic deletion.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding user-uploaded files), features, and functionality are owned by ResizeImages.co.in and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service
  • Use our branding, logos, or trademarks without permission
  • Remove or alter any copyright notices or proprietary markings

6. Privacy and Data Security

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Key points:

  • Files are processed locally on our servers
  • We never share your files with third parties
  • Files are automatically deleted after processing
  • We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS)

7. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

7.1 No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement of third-party rights
  • Accuracy, reliability, or availability of the Service
  • Quality or suitability of processed files

7.2 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ResizeImages.co.in shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Loss of data, files, or content
  • Service interruptions or downtime
  • Errors in processing or quality degradation
  • Damages arising from unauthorized access to our servers

Maximum Liability: Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service (which is $0 for free users).

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ResizeImages.co.in and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Content you upload to the Service

9. Service Modifications and Termination

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time
  • Change these Terms with or without notice
  • Refuse service to anyone for any reason
  • Terminate or suspend accounts that violate these Terms
  • Implement new features, limits, or pricing
